Winters are not very far and people will be needing scarves for this winter season to move out in chilling breezes to their work. Scarves can be utilized as fashion accessories and can help you in creating a style statement. But, for a poor, scarves can be the best gift for surviving the cold weather. It can be the gold for poor, who are homeless and walk barefoot on roads. Scarves can protect them from thrilling cold. You spend a lot of money outdoors, but have you ever thought about donating something or the other to poor people that can turn out to be a real luxury to them. If you have not, you might start thinking for them and earn few blessings. Also, it will give peace in your heart and you will feel satisfied and nice.

A group of about 30 US bank employees thought about the poor and stark the reminder that winter is not very far. They partnered with ‘Scarf It Up’ for those in need, which is a nonprofit, Northern Kentucky organization that designs handmade scarves, gloves, and new hats for agencies, which serve the people who are in need. This organization was founded as an all-volunteer organization by executive director Tammy Simpson in year 2003. Previous year, this organization donated around 10676 scarves over Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky and had planned to increase the number by 2000 to 5000 this year.

Simpson said that they are really very pleased to help the people, but the sad part is that there are numbers of people, who are in need. This is the major reason why groups like US Bank Volunteers are very crucial in this donation. This group is led by the Operations Manager of US Bank, Tina Crawford. These people took over Roselawn Branch Basement on last Thursday and made around 4000 cut fleece scarves. Eight years ago, Crawford started working with “Scarf It Up” with handful of few employees making 200 scarves. US Bank had donated around $1000 for purchasing the gloves and hats and $1000 more for purchasing the fleece to make the scarves out of it.

The volunteers stayed till the two cars from Wal-Mart in the town, full of fleece had been worked on for cutting the fleece into the scarf. This donation comes from the request from agencies that pour some money for the items so that ‘Scarf It Up’ can purchase the items for poor and provide scarves before winters. Isaiah House is another not profit organization that is collaborated with around 103 agencies targeting cross section people in the country and other parts. Scarf It Up also supports this agency with whatever it can do for this agency.

The monthly program in Ludlow and Covington provides them with clients donating groceries and seasonal items to Isaiah House. The items collected are then distributed to poor people. Scarf It Up takes donation in form of money, fleece and handmade scarves. The collection barrels will be placed in Northern Kentucky by this Saturday and its location will be updated in Scarfitup.org.

This organization is contributing to noble cause and you can also be the part of this cause by donating whatever you can. Serving the people is the greatest service of God. So contribute a little and donate the scarves and other accessories to people, who really need it. You will be blessed and feel some contentment in your heart. Charity is the biggest virtue to serve God and the mankind. Your can win heart of millions of people by donation and charity.
